A little bit about me --- >
I am a photographer, massage therapist, and musician living in Davis, California with my wife Amy and our cats Gustavo and Frida. I was born in Moline, Illinois. My family moved to Davis when I was 11 years old. I have lived here most of my adult life but I have also lived in Boulder, Colorado - Berkeley, California - Guinda, California (Full Belly Farm) and Copenhagen, Denmark for a few months.
I did not start photography at a young age. I started a few years back using digital SLR cameras just to give me something to do while my wife bird watched. I quickly got hooked and over the last few years I have been fortunate to have many great experiences ranging from the truly wild (like photographing jaguars swimming across an Amazonian river) to something as simple as photographing my niece at play (which come to think of it can be pretty wild too!).
At the beginning of 2010 I sold all my digital gear and started capturing images with a wooden pinhole camera (and various other film cameras) so I will be posting some new images from these adventures soon. Thanks for visiting.
